Partners in life and in business, Anna and Bradley met in 1998 during the opening of the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, NV. Anna worked at renowned restaurants such as Le Cirque and Picasso, while Bradley managed the esteemed Todd English’s restaurant Olives. The two literally fell in love over Food.
Anna Geist grew up all over the globe. She was born in Sun Valley, Idaho and spent her formative years in Vienna, Austria where she was formally trained at GAFA Culinary Institute. Her worldly upbringing deeply influences the food she creates today. After numerous kitchen positions, including Spago’s pastry department, Anna transitioned to overseeing front-of-house operations at both the Ritz Carlton and the Mandarin Oriental hotels in New York City.
Bradley Geist grew up in New York City and worked in finance before diving into the world of food management and fine hospitality. After spending several years in Las Vegas, Bradley returned to New York City where he owned and operated the Tribeca steakhouse, Dylan Prime for eleven years. Later he was Chief Financial Officer for City Winery LLC. Bradley balances the creativity and operational elements of the Gastrolab so that together they can create the unique culinary environment for all to enjoy.
Taking their journey full circle, Anna and Bradley relocated to Sun Valley, ID with their daughter Marley in 2012. Anna wanted Marley to have the similar and unique experiences that she had growing up in the incredible Magic Valley. Upon their return to the gem state, Bradley and Anna started Three Little Pigs Catering (3LP). In 2018, 3LP opened the Gastrolab, a beautiful amalgamation of their formative food experiences. The Gastrolab is a best in class luxury commercial kitchen and event space which can seat up to 60 people. The Gastrolab knows no bounds. From private intimate dinners to large scale celebrations, the physical space and team take great pride in the level of hospitality and imagination they provide. Both the physical and personable elements that make up this venture are guided by the warmth of a long lasting partnership between two people and their joint level of epicurean excellence.
